Halloween: The Game update: free map, Scythe and DLC explained
Conan Exiles Enhanced comes to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in early 2027, free for existing console owners. Prepare by identifying your progress and protecting the saves you already have.
Funcom says official Exiled Lands servers will move to Enhanced with characters, followers and bases intact. Isle of Siptah bases cannot survive the changed island coordinates; merger details follow later. Legacy will retain single-player and private servers, but lose official servers and the Bazaar.
Start by identifying where your progress actually lives. Write down the server name, map, character and whether you play alone, on an official server or with a private host. A console save-copy procedure is not a substitute for a server operator’s migration plan. If you run a group, give members one shared record rather than letting everyone interpret a different screenshot or announcement headline.
For PS4 saved data, Sony documents copying to a connected USB storage device while signed in. This is ordinary PS4 preservation guidance, not Funcom’s forthcoming Enhanced import procedure. Keep those two operations separate: obtaining a copy does not establish how the new game will read it.
Already playing the PS4 version on PS5? Sony provides a separate route: Settings, Saved Data and Game/App Settings, Saved Data (PS4), then Upload or Delete from Console Storage and Copy to USB Drive. Select the relevant files and Copy. This applies to PS4 saved data, not individual PS5 saves. Sony specifies a compatible ordinary FAT or exFAT USB drive, not USB extended storage; do not casually reformat a drive containing files you need.
PlayStation Plus online storage is another, different process. Sony’s PS4 instructions distinguish automatic uploads from manual uploads, and a manual upload can overwrite the cloud file. Before transferring anything, compare the local and online records and decide which version you are trying to preserve. A cloud icon alone does not tell you whether an older state remains available. Do not download an unfamiliar cloud file over working local progress simply to see what happens.
Microsoft has announced restoration of earlier cloud saves in supported games for Xbox Insiders, initially naming Forza Horizon 6. That feature is not evidence of support for every title. The cited Xbox announcement does not name Conan Exiles, so it cannot establish a recovery route for this upgrade.
Treat an available restore command and a verified rollback procedure as different things. Before using either, you would need to know which game version created the save, what the command replaces and whether that file is compatible with the version you intend to open. Avoid deleting local or cloud data as an experiment. If a save matters to you and those answers are missing, keep playing your current setup while waiting for title-specific instructions.
Sony’s general PS4-to-PS5 upgrade guidance says eligible disc upgrades require a PS5 with a disc drive, with the disc inserted when playing. It also says the disc and account must have matching country or region settings. These are general platform rules, not a confirmed Conan Exiles redemption walkthrough. Funcom has not yet explained the title’s disc-claiming process.
The same Sony guide normally excludes games redeemed through PlayStation Plus unless an exception is stated. Do not assume a subscription claim, a borrowed disc and a purchased digital licence are interchangeable. Record how you acquired your copy and which account owns it. Readers in Europe, the Americas and Asia should check their actual account and disc region rather than infer eligibility from the language of a news article.
This is also why another game’s offer cannot settle this one. The Minecraft Switch 2 upgrade guide covers a separate console transition with its own physical and digital conditions. Use the same habit of checking ownership, not the same redemption instructions.
Crom Coins, Bazaar items, DLC and Twitch Drops carry to Enhanced; purchases made there do not flow back to Legacy. Isle of Siptah remains a separate purchase.
Keep a short list of the add-ons you already own and the account associated with them. If something appears missing after a future upgrade, that record can help distinguish an entitlement issue from a character or server issue. Do not buy the same item again merely because a new installation has not displayed it yet; first check the relevant account and support guidance.
Do not schedule a server move around a guessed regional unlock time. This guide has not tested the unreleased console version.
