Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble is closing. Check your installation and purchase records now, then use the store that billed you if you want to request a refund. A clear record of what you bought is more useful than waiting for a general compensation announcement.

This is Oh BiBi’s mobile multiplayer shooter, developed with PlayStation Studios and Insomniac Games. Its July preview described arena combat inside Captain Qwark’s simulation, with character abilities, unusual weapons and a mix of competitive and cooperative modes. That identifies the affected app: do not confuse a mobile purchase receipt with a separate console or PC game in the same series.
Existing players can play until shutdown. Currency and rewards remain usable until then; server data will be deleted. Other Ratchet & Clank games and PlayStation services are unaffected.

If you plan to keep playing, avoid uninstalling during a phone cleanup. The notice limits downloads and reinstalls to the period before delisting. Treat a planned phone replacement or factory reset as something to resolve early, rather than assuming your app library guarantees another download later.
For an Apple-billed purchase, sign in to Apple’s Report a Problem service using the purchasing account. Choose “Request a refund” from the “I’d like to” menu, select the reason, continue, choose the relevant item and submit. Apple says some purchases may qualify; the presence of a request form does not guarantee approval.
If the charge is missing, search your email for an Apple receipt or invoice and check the account named on it. A pending charge cannot be submitted for a refund until a receipt arrives. Apple also directs users to resolve an unpaid order before requesting a refund, and offers support for requests that cannot be made through the form.

Start with Google Play’s official refund flow while signed into the purchasing account: on the Google Play website, open Payments & subscriptions, then Budget & order history, find the order and choose Report a problem. Select the option that describes your situation, complete the form noting that you would like a refund, and submit. If the order is missing, check whether another Google Account made the purchase.
For apps and in-app purchases, Google’s general policy distinguishes purchases made within 48 hours from older transactions. A recent purchase may qualify depending on its details; after 48 hours, Google directs users to the developer for help and possible refunds under its policies and applicable law. An approved refund can remove access to the refunded item. This is not a promise that every old currency purchase qualifies.
Location matters too. Google provides a separate policy for users in the European Economic Area and the UK, including purchases that are faulty or do not match their description. Read the regional rules relevant to your transaction rather than treating the general 48-hour guidance as the only consideration. Describe what happened without assuming the service closure automatically settles your individual claim.
Apple advises allowing 24 to 48 hours for an update. In Report a Problem, use Check Status of Claims to follow a pending request. Apple says contacting it by phone or chat does not accelerate a request that has already been submitted. Google says a decision normally arrives within one day but can take four; duplicate requests for the same transaction do not speed it up.
Approval and repayment are separate stages. Apple lists up to 48 hours for store-credit refunds, up to 30 days for most other payment methods, and 30 to 60 days for mobile billing. Google lists three to five business days for card refunds, sometimes up to ten business days depending on the issuer. Check the payment-specific timetable before assuming an approved refund has failed.

The notice dates the final update November 6, but its FAQ references November 7. Exact cutoff times and time zones are absent. Check the installed version and official notice rather than planning around an assumed midnight deadline.
The game’s help centre describes an in-app support route through the top-right menu, then Settings, then Advanced, then Support; check the labels in your installed version, as menus can change. Explain the issue in one message and keep a copy for reference. For a payment question, distinguish a missing item from a refund request, since those ask the team to investigate different things.
If you are choosing another online game, our Path of Exile 2 free-launch explainer separates paid early access from the announced free release. Before paying for access elsewhere, check the precise product, platform and current access terms rather than relying on the word “free” alone.
