ONE PIECE: Grand Gourmet brings Kairosoft’s restaurant management to the Straw Hat Crew, with its international launch dated 23 October 2026. The important buying choice is your device: mobile costs less in the US, while Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 are separate purchases with no upgrade path between their versions.

Bandai Namco’s European launch announcement is dated 23 October. Nintendo’s US listings use the same date, but Japan’s official launch notice puts the Nintendo versions on 22 October and Steam/mobile on 23 October. Steam’s current US product data gives 22 October as the release date. These are the dates the respective sources display, not evidence of a paid early-access edition.
No single worldwide unlock hour was verified. If your store still shows a pre-purchase button or an old countdown, refresh the actual product page in your account’s region and check whether installation is available.

These are platform versions of the base game; regional merchandise bundles are listed separately. Prices were checked on 23 October.
Japan also has physical merchandise bundles. The special edition is ¥9,000 before tax with the game, a Luffy plush and an acrylic stand; the larger ¥14,000-before-tax bundle adds an acrylic shaker, raised stickers and a menu-style sticker binder. The listed formats are a Switch 2 physical game or a Switch/Steam download code. These are regional collector purchases, not evidence of worldwide digital premium editions.
For most readers, start with the ordinary game on the device you expect to use regularly. A cheaper phone copy is not automatically better value if you dislike managing menus on a small screen.
The story starts with an impostor restaurant damaging Baratie’s reputation. Luffy and Sanji respond by opening Baratie Number Two. You develop recipes, assemble decorated meal sets, arrange the dining space and attract customers. Bandai Namco describes more than 200 furnishings and over 400 characters, with customer preferences affecting repeat visits and special interactions. Ingredient expeditions and staff training sit alongside the restaurant work.
That makes the appeal fairly specific: you should enjoy adjusting a business and seeing familiar characters inhabit it. The roster is not a promise of hundreds of playable fighters, and screenshots of elaborate dining rooms do not establish how satisfying the progression stays after the first few hours. Treat recipe variety, readable menus and the pace of expansion as the things to inspect in launch gameplay footage.

No paid early-access window or launch subscription inclusion was confirmed in the official listings checked. The Japanese mobile announcement explicitly describes a one-time purchase without additional charges. Nintendo’s store mentions Save Data Cloud through Nintendo Switch Online, but that is a backup feature, not a way to obtain the game through the membership.
Japan’s standard Switch 2 physical package is listed at ¥3,600 before tax, with a limited-quantity sheet of 100 character stickers. The publisher says qualifying stock is marked on its wrapping and availability ends when supplies run out. Do not assume a digital purchase elsewhere includes that physical bonus, or that a launch-day order guarantees remaining stock.
These are published PC requirements, not our benchmarks.
GPU examples are GTX 750 Ti 2GB minimum and GTX 1070 Ti 8GB recommended. A footnote names Windows 10 and 4GB VRAM as DirectX 12 prerequisites despite the Windows 11 requirement and 2GB minimum card. Confirm borderline configurations before buying.
Nintendo’s US pages list 347MB for the Switch release and 292MB for the native Switch 2 release. Apple lists 215.4MB. These are platform-specific listing figures, not interchangeable download measurements or a guarantee that updates need no extra space. No separate preload schedule was verified; now that launch has arrived, the useful check is the available install and update size on your own device.
On mobile, Apple specifies iOS 13 or iPadOS 13 and later. The Japanese publisher recommends Android 9 or later with at least 6GB RAM. Check the exact device against its store listing rather than assuming that meeting an operating-system number alone guarantees a good experience. Apple also lists Family Sharing for up to six members, which is separate from sharing one restaurant session.

The publisher lists a 30fps maximum across platforms: Switch 2 at 4K TV/1080p handheld, Switch at 1080p TV/720p handheld. These are specifications, not measured frame-rate stability or a promised 60fps upgrade.
If the real requirement is an evening with friends, use the Nintendo Switch Sports Resort multiplayer guide to compare a group-play option instead. Decide whether you want to run your own restaurant or arrange a shared session before buying extra copies.
The strongest case is for a ONE PIECE fan who already enjoys menu-led management and wants a self-contained purchase. Choose the basic version first; the collector extras need to justify their cost as physical objects. The lower US mobile price deserves consideration, but only after you are happy with screen size and device compatibility.
This guide uses official information, not hands-on play. It cannot establish long-term variety, touch-control comfort, battery life or reliable performance on your hardware. If any of those is your deciding factor, wait for detailed footage and testing of the exact version you want.
