PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for November 2026 are Dead Island 2, Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered and Monster Train 2, according to Sony’s English-language announcement. Claim them during the offer window; keeping an active membership matters more than finishing them before the month ends.

Sony announced the selection on 28 October. The November offer runs from Tuesday 3 November through Monday 30 November; no precise unlock hour is specified. October’s English-language selection—F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896 and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2—can still be added through 2 November.
Once a Monthly Game has been added to your library, Sony says you can download and play it with an active membership. You do not need to complete the campaign during its claim month. This differs from the Extra Game Catalog and Classics Catalog, where individual titles can leave the service. For a crowded backlog, the useful action is securing the monthly entitlement, not installing everything immediately.
Dead Island 2 is the action-first choice: a first-person zombie RPG set in Los Angeles, with a solo campaign as well as cooperative play. The PlayStation listing supports up to three online players and requires PlayStation Plus for online multiplayer. That makes it the obvious starting point here for a group, but the three-person limit matters: a regular four-player team should not schedule a full-party session around it.

Check the campaign state before inviting a returning friend. Deep Silver’s co-op guide says a player cannot join someone further ahead in the story; the more advanced player can instead help the newcomer. Co-op unlocks during Call the Cavalry at Emma’s mansion. The guide confirms PS4–PS5 cross-generation play, while the publisher’s later Patch 6 FAQ describes cross-play between PC stores only. Do not confuse that with joining friends on Xbox or PC from a PlayStation.
The free Patch 6 update also added Neighborhood Watch, a separate mode available from the main menu without finishing the campaign. Players must join its lobby before a session starts. New Game Plus only unlocks after the story and uses an exported Slayer, so a returning veteran should agree on the mode with the group before inviting anyone.
Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered contains The Last Revelation, Chronicles and The Angel of Darkness. The PlayStation product supports one player and offline play, with both PS4 and PS5 versions. Its original polygonal graphics can be exchanged for the remastered presentation, so this is a way to revisit those adventures rather than a new story starring Lara Croft. The collection’s title is worth checking carefully if you already own another Tomb Raider remaster.

Install available updates before deciding which control scheme suits you. Aspyr’s first major patch revised modern-control camera behaviour and added an option for The Angel of Darkness’s original 2003 console controls. That is a practical reason not to judge the collection solely from old launch footage. Start with a short session, test movement and camera settings, then commit to a longer playthrough; this is a preference check, not a claim that either scheme removes every difficulty.
Monster Train 2 is a single-player deckbuilding roguelite, not a multiplayer train simulator. Its PlayStation store page lists five clans and a train defended across three floors. Room cards modify the train, while equipment cards strengthen individual units. Choose this one if planning card combinations appeals more than movement and aiming.

Handcrafted Dimensional Challenges, daily runs with modifiers and leaderboards, and an increasingly difficult Endless Mode add replay options. A leaderboard does not make it cooperative. In the announced English lineup, PS4 owners have two playable downloads; Monster Train 2 requires PS5.
This is a Monthly Games benefit, so Essential is sufficient; an upgrade to Extra or a higher tier is not required just for these selections. Sony also supports starting console downloads through the PlayStation App or a browser. Downloading, owning a licence and cloud streaming are different questions: our PS5 offline-play and streaming explainer separates those concepts for another recent game, rather than assuming every subscription title streams.
Confirm the selection in your account’s PlayStation Store before subscribing. Sony’s regional notices warn that Monthly Games lineups can differ; this article verifies the English announcement, not identical availability throughout Asia, Europe and the Americas. If an offer is missing, check the local listing instead of buying a separately priced edition.
Language support deserves a separate check from the headline game name, particularly for multilingual households or an account created in another country. The Tomb Raider and Monster Train store listings separate voice and screen languages; those are not interchangeable. Read the listing attached to the version you intend to download. Similarly, do not infer that a named base game includes every expansion or the more expensive edition shown alongside it.
The announcement does not supply download sizes or a universal unlock clock. Check the console’s current download estimate before clearing storage, and inspect the actual monthly offer for included content. This guide is based on official announcements and support documentation. If subscribing only for one title, compare the membership commitment with its local purchase price first.
