SURI: The Seventh Note launched on October 30, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Windows PC through Steam. Tathvamasi Studiosā single-player rhythm platformer puts Ajiraās movement in step with its music, but the immediate buying decision is about editions: the old Deluxe early-access window has ended, and Trials of Yama now has standalone DLC listings despite earlier exclusivity wording.

The full game is available now. The developer announced October 30, but some regional PlayStation pages display October 29: the India listingās release timestamp is October 29 at 18:30 UTC, which is midnight on October 30 in India Standard Time. Do not turn one regionās timestamp into a worldwide unlock schedule. For a purchase today, use the download status on your own account rather than an old search snippet advertising preorders.

Steamās US listing has a separate introductory promotion: Standard is $15.99 instead of $19.99, and Deluxe is $19.99 instead of $24.99, with the displayed offer ending November 13. Check the final amount and local deadline in your own storefront; these PC prices do not establish a PS5 discount. On the PlayStation pages checked, the old 20% preorder offer is no longer the current selling price.
Trials of Yama is a prequel starring a younger Jaya, Ajiraās mother, with new challenge rooms and puzzles in Yamlok as she seeks Veer. Its Steam page lists a separate $4.99 purchase and explicitly requires the base game. A separate US PlayStation DLC page also lists $4.99, while the India listing shows ā¹415. Those current listings matter because the September 28 PlayStation announcement had said the DLC and Chandini skin would not be sold separately.
The safe conclusion is narrow: there is now a separate DLC buying route on the storefronts verified here. That is not proof that the skin is separately sold, or that every region has identical upgrade options. Standard is the sensible starting point if you want only Ajiraās main adventure; compare the bundle premium with the actual extras you want before choosing Deluxe.
The core pitch is movement built around music: running, jumping and phasing through a world that reacts to the beat, with new movement abilities and choreographed escape sequences. Ajira begins by searching for a fruit to save her mother, then becomes caught in the islandās disrupted rhythm. This is a timing-focused adventure, so attractive scenery alone is not a reliable guide to whether its challenges will suit you.
The studio is based in Bangalore, India, and describes a world inspired by Indian landscapes and mythology. Its references include Rajasthanās forts and deserts, Himalayan temples and the Western Ghats. The studio also names Rayman Legends among its gameplay inspirations. If that connection has you comparing platformers, our Rayman Legends Retold edition and costume guide covers the other gameās current extras.

On PS5, the developerās Rhythm Haptics Engine is designed to connect audible, visible and tactile rhythm cues through DualSense feedback. Its launch article also explains how Indian instrumental textures are arranged around a hip-hop-like rhythmic structure. These are design descriptions, not a guarantee that any particular player will find the timing easy. Watching an uncut gameplay sequence is more useful than relying only on a cinematic trailer.
A PlayStation Plus discount advertised before launch was a purchase discount, not a grant of the full game through the subscription. The US store now shows Premium-supported cloud streaming, but that badge alone does not establish catalog inclusion or ownership. If subscription access is essential to your decision, inspect the specific offer attached to your account before spending. Our November PlayStation Plus membership guide explains the separate monthly-game claim rules.
Do not plan around an old demo search result without opening it. The live Steam base-game page checked for this guide no longer presents the earlier demo download, and the direct demo address redirected to the store homepage. That does not establish what happens to every previously claimed copy. For PS5 accessibility, the current listing identifies individual volume controls, basic subtitles and play without controller vibration; it does not promise a complete set of rhythm assists.
The processor requirement is written broadly by the developer; it does not name one precise CPU model or a resolution and frame-rate target. Meeting it should not be read as a performance guarantee. Likewise, 15 GB is the listed available-space requirement, not a verified compressed download size. Check the installerās current storage request and leave room for updates instead of filling the drive to the last gigabyte.

SURI: The Seventh Note is a more specific proposition than a general-purpose platformer: its strongest reasons to investigate are rhythm-led movement, the Indian-inspired setting and PS5ās tactile presentation. Standard is the cautious choice for someone interested in the campaign but unsure about extra challenges. Deluxe makes more sense when its listed additions are already things you want, not because an old preorder article makes them sound urgent.
This guide is based on official product information, not hands-on testing. It does not establish campaign length, sustained frame rate or how forgiving the later levels feel. If those points determine whether you will enjoy the game, wait for direct evidence that answers them rather than treating a modest price or an introductory discount as a substitute. Existing owners should investigate the separate DLC listing before considering a second complete edition.
