No Man's Sky reached iPhone and iPad alongside the Forsaken update on October 28, 2026. Try the opening before paying: mobile has specific hardware and multiplayer limits, and moving an existing PC or console save to it is not confirmed.
Forsaken adds collectible mementos, corvette parts and hostile boundary horrors. Courier jobs require a corvette and Gravitino Coil. Nearby stars can be targeted for warping. There are also a radial Multi-Tool selector and a minimal HUD.
The App Store download includes the beginning of the game; one payment opens the rest. The full-unlock prices above were checked in the US, UK and Japanese listings on October 28. Use the amount shown by your own account before confirming a purchase, rather than converting one region’s price. The listing does not specify an exact trial duration.
Apple describes full-game unlocks as non-consumable purchases: a one-time entitlement associated with the Apple Account. This differs from a subscription or expendable game currency. Keep the account you use to pay in mind if you later change devices. A purchase entitlement and a saved adventure are separate things; restoring one should not be treated as proof that the other has transferred.
Hello Games gives iPhone 11 and third-generation iPad Air as its headline starting points. Apple’s game listing also requires an A12 Bionic chip or later and the system software shown above. Its expanded device list includes iPhone XS and XR, but Apple’s iOS 26 compatibility guide excludes those phones. Their appearance in the game listing does not resolve that operating-system conflict.
For an older phone, check the model and installed software in Settings, General, About. Apple’s supported iOS 26 list includes second- and third-generation iPhone SE models. Software Update, also under General, shows the updates appropriate to the device. Do not buy a replacement handset merely because a storefront’s long compatibility list appears to promise support; test the actual download on the device you intend to use.
The mobile edition runs the universe on the device, with touch controls rebuilt for its different activities. Hello Games also confirms controllers, TV casting, and mouse-and-keyboard input on iPad. Its announcement explicitly excludes multiplayer and limits Planetary Settlements to iPhone 15 Pro and above. The same post does not provide a model-by-model iPad settlement table, so do not infer one from the phone rule.
Use the opening to judge text size, inventory navigation, movement and flight with your preferred input method. Try it in the conditions you actually play in, rather than only checking whether the title screen opens. These are purchase checks, not a claim that we have measured frame rates, heat or battery endurance on any device.
Hello Games’ cross-save documentation names PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch and Mac, but does not confirm iPhone or iPad. Treat mobile transfers as unconfirmed, rather than calling them supported or permanently impossible. Existing ownership elsewhere also does not establish a free mobile unlock. If continuing a long-running save is essential, wait for explicit mobile instructions before spending money or changing your existing setup.

Apple separates the app from its documents and data, and warns that cached or temporary data may not all appear in that reading.
If you need room, review the device’s storage recommendations before removing a game you care about. Apple says Offload App keeps its documents and data, while Delete App removes the app and its related data. Do not use deletion as a casual troubleshooting step while the location of your latest save is uncertain. Make room by reviewing downloads you no longer need first.
For the broader platform picture, the official purchase page offers PC stores, Mac, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, plus iOS. Check your own version rather than assuming the mobile rules describe every edition. No Android purchase option is listed there. This article reports official information, not hands-on testing.
