Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered launches on November 3, 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and Windows PC. The important multiplayer distinction is easy to miss: current console listings support up to four players together locally, but only two online. Choose your platform around the group you actually want to play with, rather than assuming every mode has the same player limit.

The US PlayStation Store displays November 3 at 14:00 UTC. That converts to 6:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time, 9:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, 2:00 p.m. in London, 3:00 p.m. in Paris, 6:00 p.m. in Dubai and 11:00 p.m. in Tokyo, all on November 3. These are conversions of that specific PS5 listing, not a confirmed synchronized unlock across every platform or account region.
Steam and the US Nintendo listing confirm November 3, but the sources checked do not establish an exact shared global hour. A rounded Steam countdown should not become a minute-by-minute launch schedule. If you are arranging a match with friends overseas, agree on the storefront and wait for its actual download status before fixing a start time.

The Steam page was still in wishlist status when checked on November 1, without a purchase price to verify. Do not carry a console price into the PC checkout as though it were confirmed. The official listings reviewed here also do not establish a Deluxe edition or a paid early-access tier; there is no reason to budget for an upgrade that those pages do not offer.
This is a return to the 2002 arena fighter, with 12 kaiju and eight locations that have day and night variants. Atari describes updated visuals, a more flexible system for unlocking monsters, locations and gallery items, plus additional single-player campaigns for individual kaiju. Combat includes close-range attacks, energy attacks and Rage Mode strikes, with buildings and landmarks usable during fights.
That makes the most useful comparison a practical one: do you want an arena brawler for repeat matches, or a long story-driven adventure? The confirmed feature list supports the former, while it does not provide a campaign-length guarantee. A familiar monster on the box is a good reason to look closer, but not enough to decide how many evenings the game will fill.

PS5 lists one to four players on one system and two online. Xbox lists local multiplayer for two to four and online multiplayer for two; Nintendo Switch 2 likewise lists one to four on a single system and two online. A four-person couch session therefore fits the advertised console limits, but a four-person online lobby is not something these listings promise.
Online multiplayer and cross-platform multiplayer are separate features. The primary pages checked do not establish crossplay between Steam, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo. Before a group buys several copies, choose a common platform or wait for an explicit compatibility statement. Remote Play or streaming labels should not be treated as substitutes for a native crossplay promise.
Console online access has its own membership requirement: PS5 lists PlayStation Plus, Xbox lists Game Pass Essential, Premium or Ultimate, and Nintendo lists Nintendo Switch Online. Those requirements do not say that the game itself is included in a subscription catalog. Budget for the game separately unless your account shows an explicit included-game entitlement. Our November PlayStation Plus guide explains how monthly-game claims differ from multiplayer access.
The demo information needs caution. Steam’s earlier demo description says it was available until October 27, yet the official October 28 Godzilla Day article still promotes it as available on Steam. In our November 1 check, the direct demo address redirected to Steam’s homepage, so a fresh download could not be verified. Do not plan around the older promotion, and do not assume that demo progress transfers to the full game.
These are the current full-game Steam specifications, not the older demo’s requirements. They do not attach a resolution or frame-rate target, so meeting them is not a promise of 4K performance. The 8 GB figure is available storage, not a measured download size. Nintendo’s US page separately estimates 3.9 GB for Switch 2; allow extra room for updates and check the installer before launch.

The clearest audience is a group that wants local monster battles on supported hardware, or a returning fan who values the revised presentation and unlock structure. The reported digital Switch 2 price is lower than the reported physical preorder, so the physical premium makes sense only if that format matters to you. For players primarily interested in online sessions, the two-player limit should shape the decision before price does.
This is a guide to official launch information, not a hands-on review. Matchmaking reliability, input feel, sustained performance and campaign quality remain untested here. If crossplay, online stability or a particular frame rate is essential, wait for direct evidence of that requirement rather than letting the November 3 date make the decision for you.
